In recent years, we travelled throughout Thailand to work with indigenous musicians to record their music in order to preserve overlooked sounds. We then digitized this audio and  created a digital sound archive that people can access through an online channel. We undertook this project because we want the new generation to listen to the songs and to get to know more about our ancestors.

In this showcase event, we invite you to travel with us by perceiving the sounds of the Karen people together. Karen is one of the biggest indigenous groups in Thailand, and are known for taking care of the forest and performing shifting cultivation to survive. Their way of life will be expressed through their music. Plus, the sounds of their natural surroundings will be adapted and displayed in order to help people become aware of the atmosphere, and of how and where they live.
