With the sudden restrictions of international travel in March, many artists around the world were struck with the daunting issues of dwindling work projects and limited access to community. Fortunately, the Arts Council, Creative New Zealand recognised the difficulties facing the arts community, and generously offered funding to maintain international artistic connections for New Zealand artists. Through this programme, the work of two New Zealand composers has been supported and video recorded by a duo of musicians from Musikfabrik in Cologne, Germany, Peter Veale, Oboe, and Axel Porath, Viola. 

This new piece continues my investigations into the physicality of instrumental techniques, with the intention to elucidate the fragility of sound and to create an environment in which to examine the interiors of sounds.
