Performer, Vocalist of Korean Traditional Music (Gugak)

Yoonyoung Cho is a vocalist specializing in Jeongga, the classical Korean vocal genre encompassing Gagok, Gasa, and Sijo. She holds bachelor's and master's degrees in Korean Traditional Music (Voice) from Ewha Womans University, and has received top prizes at national gugak competitions. She completed the official training course in Gagok, a National Intangible Cultural Heritage, and is a member of the duo SolSol, as well as the SONG Project. Through performance, she continues to share an immersive experience of reconstructing the time and space of sound through the voice itself.
