Tawanrat Meewongukote

Tawanrat Meewongukote graduated from the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Chulalongkorn University (First Class Honors) in 2009. She received a scholarship to pursue graduate studies at Portland State University in Portland, Oregon. Tawanrat completed her doctoral degree in clarinet performance with a scholarship from the School of Music, Boston University. During her time in the United States, she worked as a Boston University Wind Ensemble manager, performed with numerous ensembles, and made many recordings with various bands and orchestras. The albums are available on CD, Spotify, and Apple Music.


Tawanrat organized several music activities in Thailand such as the Brass Ensemble of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra concert in 2019, Bangkok's 23rd – 24th International Festival of Dance & Music, and the Thailand International Trombone Festival 2022 – 2023. Currently, she is a full-time lecturer at Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music and a clarinetist of the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra.
