Professor Dr. Supavee Sirinkraporn

Professor Dr. Supavee Sirinkraporn is a Thai contemporary jewellery artist and Professor of Jewelry Design at Silpakorn University. Educated at the Royal College of Art and Birmingham City University, her practice explores jewellery as a philosophical medium shaped by Buddhist thought, material culture, and contemporary aesthetics. Through culturally significant materials—including nephrite jade, human hair, cremation ashes, and bone china—she examines impermanence, memory, ritual, and the human condition. Inspired by the material culture of Suvarnabhumi, the Maritime Jade Route, and Southeast Asian heritage, her internationally exhibited works propose jewellery as a contemplative practice where history, philosophy, and materiality converge.
