Nithit Rujikajorndej
Bangkok based percussionist was born in 1998. He was interested in percussion instruments and began playing percussion at Suankularb Wittayalai Nonthaburi School in 2010-2016.
In 2014, Nithit won 1st Prize with SKN Drumline and Best Snare lines Prize from Thailand International Drumline Competition.
In 2018, Nithit won 2nd Prize with Salaya Symphonic Winds from Thailand International Wind Symphony Competition (TIWSC) and in the year later, he won 1st Prize with Million Wind Philharmonic.
In 2019, Nithit won 1st Prize with “Per Le Sourire” (Percussion Ensemble) in Princess Galyani Vadhana International Ensemble Competition.
In 2020, Nithit has passed audition the Asian Youth Orchestra 2020 and he is only one who passed audition from Thailand.
In 2021, Nithit won 1st Prize of Snare Drum Competition from 2nd World Percussion Movement Online International Snare drum Competition 2021, Italy and First prize of Open Modern Category from The Asia Pacific Percussion Online Competition 2021, Hong kong.
In 2022, Nithit got Honourable mention from International Music Competition Opus 2022, Poland and Gold Prize in
Concert Division with “Per Le Sourire” (Percussion Ensemble) from The World Music Contest (WMC) 2022, Netherlands.
As an orchestral player, Nithit has had a lot of opportunities to perform with many orchestras in Thailand such as Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra (TPO), National Symphony Orchestra of Thailand (NSO), Feroci Philharmonic Winds, Siam Sinfonietta, Thai Youth Orchestra (TYO) and Princess Galyani Vadhana Youth Orchestra (PYO).
Currently, Nithit is Principal Timpanist of the Bangkok Metropolitan Orchestra and Percussionist of Million Wind Philharmonic and a part time teacher at Bangkok Christian College, Horwang Music Academy, Suankularb Wittayalai Nonthaburi School.

Nithit received his Bachelor of Music degree from College of Music, Mahidol University, where he studied under the tutelage of the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra Principal Timpanist, Dr. Wannapha Yannavut and the Principal Timpanist of the Sun Symphony Orchestra (Vietnam), Mr Kyle Acuncius.
