Monika Hennemann

Monika Hennemann

Dr Monika Hennemann is a cultural historian, musicologist and linguist, and Dean for International Engagement at Cardiff University.  She has written on music from Handel to Webern, but the majority of her work explores the impact of Mendelssohn, Liszt and other cosmopolitan Romantics of the 19th and early 20th centuries, with a special emphasis on the role of women in those eras.
