Li Xiaobing

Li Xiaobing (born November 16), a Chinese composer and music technology expert, is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the Central Conservatory of Music, and serves as the Head of the Department of Music Artificial Intelligence and Music Information Technology. He is recognized as a National Leading Talent in Philosophy and Social Sciences and an expert receiving special government allowance. He currently holds the positions of Director of the Art and Artificial Intelligence Committee of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) and Director of the Computing Arts Branch of the China Computer Federation (CCF), and is the head of the "National Huang Danian-style Teacher Team in Higher Education Institutions". In 2000, he led the development of the music brain-computer interface "Yin-Yi No. 1". In 2007, he received the Wenhua Grand Prize and the Music Composition Award from the Ministry of Culture. He established the Department of Music Artificial Intelligence and Music Information Technology and spearheaded the development of the "Central Conservatory AI Automatic Composition System". In 2023, he hosted the "Symphony of Electronic Music and AI" concert, proposing the integration and development direction of music and artificial intelligence. In 2024, he was elected as a Fellow of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI Fellow). In 2025, he composed the promotional song "Your Future" for the 15th National Games. He has also received national-level awards such as the The Chinese Golden Bell Award for Music and the "Five Ones Project" Award from the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
