Boyun Kim is a Gayageum performer and educator who completed her Master's degree in Korean music at Seoul National University. She was a member of the Seoul Metropolitan Youth Traditional Music Ensemble and currently performs with the Seoul Gayageum Ensemble. In 2023, she served as music director and arranger for the interdisciplinary performance One Another during SNU's Art Week. She has taught Gayageum and Korean culture abroad, including at Auburn University's Korea Center in the U.S. and the Korean Cultural Center in Turkiye. In 2025, she taught Gayageum, Korean language, and culture as a Counselor and Ethnic Music Program Leader at the Korean Language Village in Minnesota. She continues to perform and teach both in Korea and abroad, with a strong passion for sharing traditional Korean music and culture with the world.
