Azfansadra Karim

Azfansadra Karim, also known as Adra Karim, was born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia, where he explored diverse musical genres, including rock, electronic, and jazz, during his formative years. After completing his law studies, he pursued higher education in Jazz Organ at ArtEz Academy of Music in Enschede, The Netherlands, and subsequently obtained his Bachelor's and Master's degrees with a research focus on the application of Balinese Kotekan and Pelog in jazz compositions and arrangements at Prince Claus Conservatorium (PCC) in Groningen, the Netherlands.


Throughout his esteemed career Adra Karim has collaborated with a wide array of musicians, big bands, and in music projects spanning Europe, USA, South America, Africa, and Asia. He has toured across Europe and Japan for numerous, diverse projects.


Presently, Adra Karim actively serves as a music director, educator, composer, and arranger, leading both small and large ensembles. Additionally, he contributes his expertise to music production and showcases his talents as a skilled keyboard player within his local music scene. Recently, he concluded a term as Chairman of the Music Committee at the Jakarta Arts Council, a significant role in which he fostered the development of contemporary, classical, and traditional music and arts in Jakarta.
