Dr.Wei Wei is an Associate Professor and Master's Supervisor in the Guqin (Chinese zither) program at the School of Music, Nanjing University of the Arts. She serves as the Deputy Director of the Guqin Culture and Arts Working Committee of the China Traditional Culture Promotion Association and as a Standing Council Member of the Guqin Professional Committee of the Chinese Nationalities Orchestra Society.

She is recognized as a "Haisu Distinguished Young Scholar" by Nanjing University of the Arts. Prof. Wei has presided over and completed multiple research projects funded by the Ministry of Education Humanities and Social Sciences Research Fund, provincial/departmental level projects, and university-level initiatives. She has published several papers in core academic journals.

The course "Fundamentals of Guqin Performance," for which she is responsible, was selected as one of Jiangsu Province's first batch of first-class online courses. Her solo guqin album "*Qin · Yue*" (*The Qin and Music*) was published as part of the national "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" key audio-visual publishing project.
