The installation uses actual debris from the demolished site—a concrete pole, a galvanized sheet, and a wooden door—as mediums for acoustic transmission. Each material will transmit a distinct sound:

  • Concrete Pole: Voices of residents from gentrifying areas, representing "the people."

  • Galvanized Sheet: Construction sounds, blurring the line between renovation and destruction.

  • Wooden Door: Ambient sounds of both the old and newly constructed places.

These sounds will form a 15-20 minute composition that constantly evolves. The ideal exhibition space is a quiet, open area with minimal reflective surfaces.
