Birmingham ElectroAcoustic Sound Theatre (BEAST) comes to PGVIS with a programme of immersive audio and multimedia work. Rani Jambak, M. Hario Efenur and Scott Wilson present PANJAGO: Body – Sound – Improvisation, a work combining spatialized electronic music and Minangkabau martial arts as body sound. Innovative works by BEAST composers Annie Mahtani and Christopher Haworth make the most of the immersive possibilities offered by the Woodbox sound system. A guest appearance by Thai artist Sippapas Thienwiwat, and the world premiere of a collaborative work exploring the theme of Wonderland from students and colleagues at PGVIM and the University of Birmingham round out the concert.
