Professor Lanskey, Director of Singapore’s Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music (YSTCM) and President of the Southeast Asian Directors of Music (SEADOM), offers some reflections on his experiences in Singapore and Southeast Asia over the past decade and the opportunities and challenges he anticipates for classical music both in the region and in the contemporary global context.
