Nakhonratchasima College of Dramatic Arts

PROGRAM
Collective Composition and Improvisation
Created and performed by instructors and participants of the Global Pathway for Folk Musician course
This showcase presents works developed by participants who have completed the Global Pathway for Folk Musician course and are now putting their learning into practice through performance.
Drawing from their own musical traditions, the participants explore new ways of presenting folk music beyond familiar forms and conventions. Through experimentation, collaboration, and creative reinterpretation, they develop performances that connect traditional knowledge with new artistic ideas, contemporary contexts, and wider audiences.
The showcase reflects a journey from learning to making—demonstrating how folk musicians can remain rooted in their cultural identity while expanding the possibilities of what their music can become.
