Join students, faculty and alumni from the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music for a night of doleful grandeur and rich passion of the key of G minor, as the violin journeys through musical landscapes – whether solo, or joined by the sonorities of piano and cello. 

Our programme of G minor works by J.S. Bach, Debussy and Rachmaninoff takes you through elegant contemplations, spirited virtuosity and enigmatic serenity, performed by violinist Zhang Yuchen alongside Prof Bernard Lanskey (Dean of YST), Chang Yun-Hua Chang (both pianists) and cellist Jeong Woosuk. Paired with G minor improvisations by multi-faceted violinist David Loke and pianist-composer Jonathan Shin as well as connections with cocktail mixology, we present an evening of musical and sensory connections.
