TST1988, a piano trio featuring clarinet, cello, and piano, was established in 2024 with the aim of organising and performing the inaugural concert at Sagita Vadhana Hall, PGVIM, as part of the Musique de la Vie concert series. The trio's program featured works by Johannes Brahms, Robert Kahn, Nino Rota, and Vanich Potavanich. Additionally, the trio has performed at Chom Dong Villa and Garden in Hua Hin, a prime example of nature-integrated performance spaces. Surrounded by lush foliage and mountains, this venue harmonises natural acoustics with musical performances, enhanced by ambient birdsong. Its suitability for both day and night events underscores the importance of ecological and acoustic design in outdoor concert venues. Finally, the trio wrapped up their latest performance at the SCB headquarters. The intimate indoor venue created a delightful atmosphere where the trio played in conjunction with a captivating painting exhibition.

Despite the varied concert venues, the trio preserved the essence of the classical trio. The blend of piano, clarinet, and cello offers a rich palette of tonal colours and textures: the piano adds harmonic richness, the clarinet delivers a versatile and expressive voice, and the cello provides depth and warmth. They tailored their repertoire to align with the audience's experiences and expectations. This adaptation showcased their keen sensitivity to the audience's diverse preferences.

Observing audience experiences and expectations revealed several important insights. Firstly, music has the power to create harmony by engaging audiences through the piano trio experience. This engagement is influenced by various factors, including historical context, repertoire variety, the development of musical understanding, and the overall impression left on the audience. Secondly, the observations highlighted the significant impact of the venue on the selection of the musical repertoire. The choice of venue can enhance or detract from the performance, influencing the audience's connection to the music.

With these insights in mind, the TST1988 trio aims to present classical music across a wide range of concert venues. By doing so, they strive to ensure that everyone, regardless of location or background, can appreciate the beauty and richness of classical music. This approach demonstrates their commitment to making classical music accessible and enjoyable for diverse audiences.
